I came to England 2 and a half years ago from New Zealand and am going home to visit my family at the end of the year. I wanted to take home a special present for my parents and thought that getting information on our family history would be perfect.  I didn’t know where to begin; I heard that Linda had experience in that area so went to her for help!

 

Linda was invaluable to my project. I gave her names and dates of births of my parents and grandparents and gave her as much information as I could in to their history in England. 

 

From there she produced a detailed history of my family, including birth certificates, information on the area they lived and what life would have been like.  Thanks to Linda, I can now give my dad the perfect present when I go home.

Linda's task was to provide my family tree. So far, she has accurately traced my family tree back to the mid 1600's. The information provided by Linda is very thorough, very comprehensive and beautifully presented.  It is much more detailed than I expected as she has included family history, copies of all the relevant documents found during her search plus some copies of old photographs, drawings of the towns where the Tipping's lived and some local history. It is a fascinating read. I am extremely pleased with the results that Linda has provided and I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting a similar task performed.

It was in the run up to Christmas that I came across Linda Rollitt and contacted her about producing a family history as a gift for my Nan. I knew immediately from Linda's enthusiasm that she was passionate about what she did. She kept me constantly updated on the project and a few weeks later, in plenty of time for Christmas, and on budget, she presented me with an extremely professional looking presentation wallet. When my Nan saw it on Christmas Day she was lost of words and shed a tear of joy. I have to say a big thank you to Linda for all her help and for creating the perfect gift.

Not only was it great fun working with Linda as she carefully dived into my family history (on both sides of the family) but it made me realize how much we take for granted from the past, when it is the past that has shaped us as we are…….the end result was a comprehensive book of fascinating information and historical fact, not just charts of sometimes meaningless names, that both I and my family have had great delight in reading over and over again….Linda is a true professional combined with a sense of putting the family history into a context that anyone can understand and relate to ……the best money I have spent in a long long time as the result is forever and for my future generation yet to come.
